Many colleges are fucked due to for-profit programs that prey on anyone who can fill out a FAFSA or qualify for the GI Bill. This comfy government money lets them raise prices while output falls. Accreditation has been available to the highest bidder. Real schools with real science and engineering degrees are still doing fine and are a requirement for career entry. Bullshit schools will continue to be bullshit. If you don't want to go to college, there are still plenty of careers that offer good money with only a few years of training. You'll likely still need (mostly BS) certifications to compete against other job seekers for the best jobs. IT and Development are good examples of these jobs where little to no education past high school can get a person to $100K without a bachelors. FIU doesn't require GRE/GMAT for some of their Masters programs. Isn't that a huge clue its a fucking joke? Also, who says they are top rated? US NEWS?
